Dreams are so strange sometimes, aren’t they?

I am curious if your dream may not be representing your anticipation of childbirth. The butchers sound like doctors in a delivery room to me – and the milk is certainly associated with babies as well. And the butchers – after they scoop out the meat – hold it high in the air. Not unlike a doctor holding up a newborn by his ankles – to give it that first swat on the bottom – to begin the breath of life.

The fact that you were disgusted in the dream suggests a sense of trepidation on your behalf regarding delivery – which is of course completely normal.

Dear Dream Doctor,

Sounds right to me. I’ve definitely been feeling some fear about the upcoming delivery. By the way, when I told my mother about this dream, that’s the interpretation she came up with too! 🙂
